So I'm thinking about attempting a small headlight project, but need a little help. I have the JDM projector headlights, but as we all know, the hunt for BD shit is more time consuming than we'd like. So here's my question:

:smt031 **What other make (BMW would be the easiest to find) and model has the same size projectors as the ones inside the JDM projector headlights???

..If my tiny creativity turns into a success-- and not too ricey, I'll share lol!

You'll want to look at threads and posts by HeresMyMind. He's done several projector lense retrofits.

K thanks! I PM'ed. But I assume I will get more help if I just share my idea... So, this is the whole thing:

I'm thinking about putting CCFL halos around the BD JDM headlight projectors, but would need a comparable projector size to order the halos. There are several plastic and some glass ones listed on ebay with search terms with BMW and others of course, so I just need a specific make and model of a stock car who would have the same size projectors as the BD JDM projector headlights.

I'm not sure if this would even look good or if someone who has the puny parking lights hooked up can vouch for if the piddly light lights up the surrounding edge/halo of the projector anyway..--? ..I dono, just a thought

No one actually did it though :-( No one knows what this will look like, or tips to make it work in the BD JDM Projector headlights... I'm waitin on DocHolladay23's write-up that "should be up in a week."
