Hey,

I seem to recall a post around the time I joined about a 16 lb Flywheel that was receiving great reviews from the few people who had installed it. I can't for seem to find the original post though.

Does anyone remember/know of said Flywheel? I know this is extremely vague, but I've seen you guys pull more obscure things out of the rafters. Hopefully someone else remembers it.

If that's not the case, I am looking to upgrade my flywheel when they replace my clutch and engine, does anyone have a suggestion for a reasonably priced flywheel that isn't overly light to the point it adversely affects idle, etc, but is still a drop from the 24(?) lbs oem model?

Thank you,

Phil

There's quite a number of people who are running 14lb ACT and EXEDY lightweight flywheels... I know jey is running a 9lb flywheel with no issues.

Gruppe-S and other vendors on Nasioc periodically run combo deals...

The flywheel runs about 13.4 lbs.

I've got the ACT Streetlite and Exedy Stage 1 clutch on my ride. Only complaint I have is my new friend the CEL when cruising. Picking up a scan guage for X-Mas so I don't have to visit my friend to have him scan it. Only checked it once and it was Misfire 1,2 and 4 but NEVER fell on face so........ Did enjoy my 384 mine drive down HWY 5 with the CEL flashing every 5- 10 minutes or so :smt013 . Ran like a banshee though.

Hmm... I'll have to keep an eye out for that, thanks for the heads up.

In other news: I just ordered my STi Group N Transmission, Pitch and Motor Mounts today, $250 shipped. They're the last piece in the puzzle and should be here by Monday. w00t.
