but i am not sure that applies to me i'll be rolling on 205/50/r16 and that should get me a little more clearance, and the cables i listed are listed as exceeding "class s" so i should be good right?

just get 2 sets for front and rear?

much easier.

Tire rack has done at ton of testing and studded/chained mildly outperform studless winter tires. The weakest part of the chains / studs is the ice. Once either come in contact with the ice it just chips away.

imho i dont think the weather around here needs full blown winters and i do a LOT of interstate driving. just need something for those rare "damn the roads are bad" times here in WV
