After installing my projectors, I realized one of the bulbs is blown. Being unfamiliar with them, are there are bulbs that are better than others to replace it with? I was going to go to NAPA but thought about some better quality ones if possible. Thanks.

it has to be h1 bulbs, unless you upgrade to hids, then i think you need d2s bulbs, i still havent put in my projectors, but i was looking at autozone, those bulbs are like 40 bux a pop (for the better ones) kinda expensive but well worth it

:)

Seriously, $39.99 for 1 bulb? That's crazy.

99SUS, check out these: http://store.candlepower.com/bconibr90ulh1.html

I had a set before I converted to HID's and they were the best halogen bulb I've ever seen by far, you wont be disappointed. $40 for two of them and shipping wont be much since it's a small item to ship.

Thanks for the link. I'm headed to NAPA for a quick fix in the a.m. (don't want to get a ticket) and will check those out after.

Went and picked up some NAPA H1 bulbs this morning for $7 per bulb.

The bulbs that were in there were PIAA Xtreme Whites that I liked a lot, so I ordered another pair of them since I'm familiar with the light output. I'll try the ones above if these ones don't last.

!!!!

at places like advance auto parts ect ect, pairs of silverstar h1's go for 50 i think.

relative to oem sylvania replacement h1 bulbs, silverstars make a HUGE difference! i light up the entire world when i turn on all my lights.

Well these are literally NAPA brand, so I'm assuming they're pretty "cheap" considerig their price. Who knows though. I haven't driven with them at night yet...but will be in about an hour or so.

Silverstars (non Osram) are teh suck. Overpriced!

Bulbs are not worth $40.

Well not surprisingly the NAPA bulbs leave a lot to be desired, but they work for now.

I've heard that Phillips Xtreme Power bulbs are on par with the Osram Nightbreakers, but I have yet to find them in the H1 variety...

Both are available on eBay, for around $30/pair

I ended up getting these. Definitely better than the NAPA bulbs...but what wouldn't be?
