Hi!!!
I'm french (sorry for mistakes with english...), loving Subaru cars: this is my 5th, after 4 Impreza: 1998 gt saloon grey, 2000 gt saloon blue, 2003 wrx saloon blue, 2006 wrx sedan blue, and now, 2004 sedan Legacy Spec B 3.0r 6 speed BLE.
This car is very rare in France, and comes with ez30 engine, 3.0r, 18" wheels, Bilstein shocks, black leather interior, 6 speed STI gearbox.

88.000kms, and I'm looking for parts to upgrade it: brakes (pads, rotors and lines, as every Subaru I've drived...poor brakes: I'm living in mountains  ), rear wing (small one, of course, it's not an Impreza... )

I'm firefighter :blob6: , 42 years old, living in the south of France, and glad to find this forum!!! :smt023

Thank you!!!
Very hard to find car here, but because of gas price (1.5$/liter today, 2$/liter this summer :smt010 ), it loose a lot of value, because nobody (except me :smt026 ) wants to own such a car in France today: more than 60000$ for a new one, I have it for about 18000$...
And in my mountains, she drinks more than me!!! :occasion5:

Thank you all!!! :smt006
I'll try to do my best with english, I'm training with bidding or buying manythings in U.S.A. ($ is great for us, €!!!) and in G.B. for Subaru parts (many parts, even if they are not cheap!!!)...

Some pics from a trip I organize every year with friends on the Rallye Monte-Carlo roads, all around my house.
This year, I still had my WRX, the blue one with STI rear wing:

The bridge on pictures is near a great little exhaust factory :smt020 , MADAC-SAS, 45mn from home, where I use to buy products for each of my subies: I have to go there soon to look for a hand-made (overmeasure?) exhaust for my legacy (they don't have it on their catalogue), they are friends, so it's not so expensive: one day work. :smt023
Here in France, every Sub owner change it's exhaust: flat 4 or 6 sound is so great!!! :love4:

Just for fun, some pics from my other car: Peugeot P4, 1987, 65.000kms, based on a Mercedes G, under licence, it's made for french army by Peugeot for the engine (65 hp diesel... :smt005 ), the gear box and military equipment:

To come back with legacy, in France, there's no more turbo on gas engine, only on diesel:
2.0r gas 150 hp 198 Nm automatic 4 speed
2.0 d 150 hp 350 Nm automatic 4 speed
3.0r 245 hp 297 Nm automatic 5 speed
3.0 SpecB 245 hp 297 Nm manual 6 speed (seems to be out of 2009 catalogue... :smt009 )

So, I wish you a Merry Christmas, and as I worked this night, it's 4 pm here, and I need to sleep one hour to be ready for the dinner who seems to be fantastic tonight!!! :smt027 :smt027 :smt027 :smt026 :smt026  :smt006

No one seemed to mention that in the US the 3.0r never came in a spec b version. Interesting french variation.

NO Turbo on Gas engines!?! too bad, The new Legacy Gt 2.5t Looks like it has almost as much power as the 3.0R...huh. SOMETIMES, I am proud to be an American, we burn gasoline like idiots! Gas hit $4.03/ gallon this summer and every one freaked out, like it was the end of the world or sumthing...huh! Subie Didn't care! Gas is back down to $1.63/ gallon (THAT'S LOW!!!)
I'm more of a bike guy anyways...
NICE RIDE
