View Full Version : I think I broke my tach.

I was swapping in my new custom gauge faces and when I pulled out the needles, 3 of the 4 came out with the metal pin still attached to the needle.

When I went to put them back in, the speedo (the only one that came off the pin) seems to be acting normally. The tach, however, isn't moving as freely, and I think I may have pushed it back in too firmly, as it sinks to the surface of the gauge now. >.<

Is there anything I can do short of pulling a new BD gauge cluster?

Thanks,

Phil

Damn it!

As I'm plugging the gauge cluster in to test and see if I had actually broken my tach, I somehow managed to snap off the end of the temp needle.

I'm so fed up with this crap.
