Alright, I got a set of JDM HID headlights for cheap (100 bucks!). Wired them up, work great... everything I could ask for except aiming.

Obviously meant for RHD, but has anyone found a way to aim them left/right?

I lowered the left, and kept the right where it was. I'm hoping that is enough for now to keep the glare out of people's eyes, but damn if it wouldn't be nice to move them over a bit.

I was thinking a couple washers on the radiator support for the pass. side, but for the driver's side i've got nothing.

Any ideas?

Oh and PS: The cut off on these things is NUTS compared to the BG/BK/BD JDM projectors! It's more defined which is why I'm worried.

same way you'd aim projectors.

park 20ft from a wall.

measure the distance from the ground to the top of your headlight.

call it (X)

then walk to the wall.

and measure where the top of your light glob/cutoff is.

call this (Y)

Y should be 1.5-2" lower than X

if you park along a wall you should see your light slightly point downwards along the wall

Sorry, I thought I was clear... I know how to aim them, but there doesn't seem to be a "left/right" knob/screw on the housing. So I was curious if anyone found a way to adjust them left or right, or just lived with the factory horizontal placement.

I drove a year with mine aimed high, they only go up and down not left and right. No big deal, only got flashed once. Aiming them low should be good enough. I have another pair that have been corrected but they have condensation issues.

throw in a few Silca packets for electronics, and tape them in there. they will suck all the moisture out. also. reseal them with new headlight sealant.

u can buy it ONLY at a NISSAN dealer. also know as headlight butyl

Thanks, I played a little more with them last night and actually found one screw that does aim them left/right, I just moved them all of the way to the right and called it good, even though it's still not that right. good enough for me though.

You can get windshield butyl at most APS.

Is the same thing.
