I'm still kinda new around here so I appologise in advance if someone has already posted this question.
I bought a 98 GT Limited back in November for $800. The guy let his daughter drive it and she hit a deer at 45mph, almost totalling the car. I had to replace the right intake cam gear because it was shattered in the impact ( the radiator was pushed back into the engine).
Anyways, I got the engine back in time but it wont idle. It revs absolutely fine but if I try to put it in gear it just dies. Check engine light is on, the engine ticks pretty loudly, and I got a code p0440 from an OBD 2 scanner. Evaporative Emission Control System. Also, the scanner said something about a cam sensor too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
