Ok, so i ugpraded struts/springs to a STI set up.
upgraded rear sway bar with an outbacks.
now i want to get strut tower bars.
I have a BK (obviously, i have it my way)
What strut tower bars for Subaru's work. will an 04 wrx rear fit mine? I heard certain impreza chassis ones fit ours.

Front = any GC (93-01) impreza bar = directo bolt on
Rear = any GD (02-07) impreza wagon bar = direct bolt on
Rear = any GD (02-07) impreza bar = slotting and notching required
There are two styles for the strut brace. If you want bolt on and no modification you should use the flat style below.
Tall style - GReddy (tripple tube design) GC8 strut bar

Flat Style - Carbon Fiber FHI GC8 strut bar.

Also just to add, at the moment only cusco makes the rear strut bar - brace.
02+ GD WRX rear strut bar will also fit but is not bolt on. You must modify the strut tower for the bar to fit (not out a bracket which is not structual) & slot the bar by a few mm. But as far as mounting points they should all line up.

The REAR brace from the 02+ WRX wagon works perfectly fine in a BG/BK wagon.
The SEDAN is another kettle of fish and does require the strut tower to be cut to allow for enough clearance if the brace is not BD specific.
However, this thread refers to FRONT STRUT braces, not rears.
The rear strut towers are the same as the 02+ WRX, you can use that bar. A GC8 rear bar won't work.

i have a cusco front tower brace and it's pretty nice, needed to be repainted but works damn well. Found it on ebay for about $80 shipped from the philipines.

Do you have one with HIGH mounting brackets? The WRX/Impreza has more hood clearance than the BD/BG/BK Legacy.
But the bolt pattern is the same.
I have had 95-06 WRX front strut braces on my BK and BD, no issues as long as the mounting brackets are low profile.
