annoying exhaust rubbing on tranny mount?

i just recently got a stroming cat-back, and borla knockoffs, and when i pulled my exhaust down, i noticed that the metal exhaust hanger on my cat was cut in half. (wtf?) now with the new exhaust, for some reason the mount for that metal hanger is rubbing like on my subframe i think where the tranny mount is on, and my question is would it be bad if i just cut the hanger mount off my cat? i dont have the hanger on it now but should i get one or will it be fine without it? sorry if that is confusing. thanks for the help.

also, i have another question. will a MAF from a 97 legacy L with a 2.2 fit into my 97 outback with a 2.5?

its added support and releaves pressure of the manifold flanges. yes i would get a new one but you can drive for a little will without it

they are common for breaking. mines held together with a worm clap so it dont split no more
