Ok. so lately my 4eat has been having issues engaging into drive 1 2 or 3. but reverse park and neutral all worked great. So i brought it to valvoline and said do a flush, and when you put it in please put Trans-X in with it. they flushed the system and added the repair fluid. the shit that came out of my tranny was gross as SHIT. they also found out that the dealer i bought it from put the wrong tranny fluid in it. Now. after a few rides. the tranny couldn't be any better.

it shifts smoother
engages into gears faster
NO HESITATION WHEN LETTING OFF THE GAS GOING DOWN HILL!!

so i highly recommend this to everyone with a 4eat that hasn't flushed their system. its pricey but well worth it!

WAT? Wow dude, glad you got it cleared up. Wrong tranny fluid?! what did they use, gear oil?

I used OEM tranny fluid and Lubegard ATF Protectant. Did two drains and refills. Cured torque bind and eliminated weird shifts.

How can a shop determine that the wrong fluid was used if they don't do a used oil analysis?
