I have those on my street wheels for my 2.5RS. I have them in 215/45/17 on a 17" OZ Superleggera.
I hope the only reason you got them was because you were wanting to save money and get a decent all-season. If you are expecting good dry handling prepare to be a bit disappointed.
I have used them for 2 years. During those two years I have:
-ran two AutoX's on them
The sidewalls squirm terribly. I am glad i no longer autoX on them because I was beginning to chunk the sidewalls. You are using a 50 series on a 16 so if you pump up the pressure quite a bit before spirited driving you *might* be ok.... maybe.
-street driven them every day for one of those two years
Fantastic street tires. they will pick up the road grooves but mine are wider than yours so you might not have to worry about it. they will get little bits of crap stuck in them because of the tread pattern so check that periodically. they do look kinda aggressive however they look more like a rally tire than a race tire. THESE TIRES ARE FANTASTIC IN THE RAIN! I CANNOT STRESS IT ENOUGH! THEY GRIP LIKE A CLAW! LIKE A CLAW! GOT IT? GOOD!
-taken them on two 800 mile road trips
great on long trips. the tires are very quiet. make sure they are aired up and your alignment is good and you will see very little tire wear. these are hard compound tires, if you take care of them you should be able to go for a long long long time without running the tread down. just be sure you're alignment is good.
-done several spirited backroads cruises
Spirited street driving doesn't always happen when you are expecting it so usually you are at your normal tire pressure. as a result of this, your sidewalls will squirm and you will experience understeer. the front tires will communicate very well with you when they are at the limit and the steering wheel will get a bit soft. the limit comes pretty early with these, if you overdrive a corner and turn the wheel quickly, the car will follow but you will hear squealing and other noises that can be translated as "Fu&k You!" in tire speech. Remember that you are on an all-season with these, they are not too great but they WILL COMMUNICATE WITH YOU IN THE DRY! SO PAY ATTENTION! TURN YOUR RADIO DOWN IF YOU'RE GONNA GO ALL MARIO ANDRETTI ON A BACKROAD.
-driven in ice and snow
Very well behaved in snow. they will grip quite well and you can control your slip with your throttle, just as any all wheel drive car should. they wont plow unless you lock the brakes. overall pretty dang good but they will slip with too much throttle input and steering angle and once they slip they dont grip again unless you shut it down. pretty obvious. With ice, there's no grip. At all. But its ice. so dont be retarted.
-overall put probably close to 10,000 miles on them, if not more.
Like i said, if you take care of them and keep them properly inflated and aligned and rotated and balanced they will reward you with long life. just remember, they are an all season and they suck at dry handling. However they are better than RE92's but that doesnt mean much because thats like saying "man, eating this burnt turkey leg tasted a lot better than the dog poo I ate earlier!"

I was about to purchase the same tires. My dad is giving me tires as a christmas gift, and I guess $70 ea. is his range... Oh well. They just need to help me survive for the next year because my current tires are a bit of a hazard.

well... i knew they were not the end all be all of tires but they should be tons better than near bald re92's that were on the wheels i got from Huffer

if they handle better dry than the re92's then its an improvement because they were a lot better than my 14" goodyear's

I have the ZRis, they are ok. Cheap and effective in rain and tarmac.
