Fog Lights

So SLi,

has anyone taken apart BD BG foglights? i am in the process of cleaning up the lenses after one of my 20$ silverstar bulbs burnt out after a month and i ripped the lights off the car. i want to get them apart and paint most of the plastic "reflecting material" gloss black. leaving just the metal reflector chrome. it should make the light appear dark when not lit. i think it will look badass.

anyways, anyone ever take one of these apart? looks to be a pain in the ass as the little clip thingys (5) dont seem as though they are going to budge and before preaking my shit i figured i would ask.

if you guys can help me i will do a write-up on it.

I was going to clean up mine and possibly paint them. I just plan on getting the JDM projector fogs. Take pics of your hard work when you are finished.

well im still not totally satisfied with the look and i think im going to try to make some sort of screen cover for them (ala WRX fog covers) maybe using some fiberglass and metal screening... we will see
