Howdy gang,

I'm likely picking up a Stromung hi-flow cat this weekend. I talked to Teague's, and I think they answered my question, but I want confirmation from SL-I.

The seller bought the hi-flow cat from Teague's for his '08 Impreza; didn't work (complicated issue with his mid-pipe). According to Teague's, provided it hasn't been modified (it has not), it will work for any 2.5 from the '98 Impreza RS to my '03 Legacy. Truth?

Just want to make sure there's not a more "specific" variation that I am unaware of.

Thanks as always.

Jeff

Mechanically it'll fit, but if your car is built to CARB standards then you may need an extension harness for the rear O2 to reach.

I did a thread on the two different types of catalytic converter setups that the NA Subarus in the USA have. Some have the 2 cats quite close together and very close to the header (CARB) the others have the cats spaced about 8" apart (FED). The main difference is that the CARB cars have a shorter harness for the rear O2 sensor as it's closer to the header.
