So I figured that I would start my own members ride thread, my car is nothing like most people's on here but I still love this car. Bone stock right now with 128,912 miles, trying to make sure it is good mechanically before I get to intensive with the mods ;)

Is that really the stock grill that came with the car?? I thought all outbacks and GT's had the bigger front grill just to make use of the little gap between it and the bumper..
It still looks good either way, and SOLID

That's not the original grille - you can see the gap below the grille. It is a Subaru grille however, but from an earlier year.

I'm sure there are tons of things not original to this car, it has been totaled and rebuilt... twice

Update! I got some 55w driving lights and wired them so they came on and off with the highbeams and be able to be turned off. They are a lot brighter than they look in the pictures and really help me avoid the deer :smt002 Hardest part of this project was trying to find how to mount them without drilling holes in my car.

nice ride, thats not the proper grill though, the one you have is from a 2.2L leggy, you need the grill for a 2.5L GT/OUTBACK

Thanks! Right now fogs go on with low beams and these go on with high's, I may do the independent fog mod, if I do ill get a picture.

Alright here is my new grill custom made by jharl (a new member on here) I dont have it on the car yet but I think its going to look awesome once painted.

Car looks good man. When you get that painted you could throw your driving lights behind it, that's why I actually made it.

yeah i think black would be nice but personally i think flat will be to dull, i would look for like a matte clear coat so it has some shine but not too much.

i like the angle of the car a lot, maybe offset it a bit to make a better picture. i liked your grill! i think you should move the lights maybe to the bumper? or maybe behind the grill? still think you should keep the grill tho, that looks tight
