I was driving home from dinner and stopped at a red light. Some guy in an early 2000 Rustang pulls up next to me, smoking a cigarette with fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror. He's creeping like crazy at the light... I'm sure he wants to race. Honestly I didn't expect to beat him, I had 3 people with a combined weight of over 400 lbs in my car, and keep in mind I have the n/a 2.5 AUTO with 128k mi on it. By the looks of his racing stripes, I'm sure it's got a big V8 in it, but this theory was quickly disproved. In fact the racing stripes had no influence on the power output of the rustang. As soon as the light changes, I floor it. My passengers and I watch in amazement as the rustang accelerates hard in 1st, but then falls back as it hunts for second gear. Approaching 70, it became evident that he was losing miserably. I slow down and let him blow past me. That means he won right? :smt016
