I'm in the process of cleaning up a header for my car and was contemplating exhaust wrap. Here's a quick reference to the stuff on Summit: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=THE-11002&N=700+4294923429+4294918557+115&autoview=sku There's cheaper stuff available also.

Is it worth doing on a N/A Subaru? The reason I'm asking is because the exhaust is under the car not really enclosed under the hood although the plastic shield is under it for a portion. No turbo so there's nothing to worry about additional heating up there.

What is everyone's thoughts?

Thanks,
Mike

A wrap is fine, just be aware of water soaking in and causing aggressive rust if the wrap isn't completely dry after you turn off the car.

You could look into ceramic coating too.

Thanks Huffer! I didn't think about moisture getting caught in the wrap. Ceramic coating would be the way to go instead......just a bit pricey. squeak squeak squeak. lol
