This morning my left indicator turned on and wont turned off :-/ The right turn signal is fine.
This is whats happening:
-Lights turned on left turn signal switch does nothing
-Left turn switch does not activate the relay (no click.. nothing)
-Lights turned on left turn signal is on and brighter then usual.
-Lights turned on left turn signal on dash is on and does not blink even with Parking light on/off
-Lights turned on hazard switch does not cycle the blinkers.. the blinkers and arrows on the dash just stay on (no relay click).
--
-Lights turned off hazards work fine.
-Lights turned off Left turn signal switch works but all dash lights blink including radio/hvac.
-Lights turned off and all the lights on the dash including hvac and radio blink when the hazard button is switched on
Checked all the fuses and their fine.
Now its on all the time.
Any suggestions?
I am thinking my signal stock is damaged.
Thanks

Sounds like a switch is grounding permanently to stay on like that.
The hazard button just makes the indicators and the arrow marks on the dash blink. Nothing else.
Man I hate electrical gremlins.

i can understand the grounding issue.. its most likly my switch.. but hows this for gremlins.. this morning it worked fine for 3 minutes then back to the same old :-(
I just don't understand why my hazards are flashing every dash light / hvac and radio?

*update*
I re-connected my DTRL to see if that was the case but nope.. nothing.. same shit.
So since then I have been 4x pulled over.. result of 2 tickets so far.. :-/ 1x threat to tow car ... damn cops! I shake my fist!!!
Last night the left turn signal stayed on no matter what state lights on / off :-(
This morning everything works fine :-?
What the shit?
Anyone got an idea?

Have you torn the control stalk apart to see if there's a frayed wire in there?
What about replacing the bulb socket itself?
Feels like a hot power somewhere in the system along with a ground out?

I tried the bulbs... no dice.
I havn't removed the stock yet.. its freezing outside and theres a boat load of snow.
:-(
Oh well.... thanks huff.

Looks like you've come down with a case of old-man-itis.

I mean that you leave your blinker on while on the freeway even though you have no intention of exiting or changing lanes. =p
But that doesn't sound like fun anyways.

Wow, nobody uses their turn signal here, interesting that it's actually enforced in in Toronto.

Its noticeable when driving. Only the left turn signal front/back is lit up. cops don't like turn signals that don't blink
and you have to remember, I am not driving a standard legacy. I do not blend in.. flat black paint with flashy wheels and no badges.. Cops don't know what my car is.. and then they run my plate... I get "Routine Traffic Stops" at least once a week.
But meh it seems like the electrical gremlin is hibernating at the moment. Everything works :-/ This is no good..
