so last night I brought a pair of yellow H3 bulbs for hi beams they are not that yellow tinted type but the type that is coated inside for $3.49 a bulb I guess it can't hurt to try but I heard so much about yellow bulbs and how they are so much better then white bulbs when the weather is bad so I figured I would give them a try.. anyone else have used them?

most likly they wont be yellow for true yellow you need to spend the dough cheese on 3000k HIDs.

I will show you the link when I get home since I'm on my cell. you don't put hids in JDM hi beams because that part of the lens is fluted and trust me the bulb will be yellow enough I only found one thread on nabisco about.. well that showed the light output.

i covered my highs with yellow headlight film.. and the bulb covers that can be screwed in... iw as just saying that most halogen bulbs dont look yellow. for a bulb to truly be yellow it should be a HID.

I found the yellow bulbs tend to wash out very quickly, and look more white in color. I ended up using the stained glass paint. It works well when there is snow on the ground and on certain wet pavements, but in actual bad weather, the sharp cut off of the projectors works better for visibility.
GTB- I really like how the yellow high beams look with the black housings!

bulbs came today not bad I have to get used to the yellow saving the JDM H3's just in case something happens to the bulbs but I should be ok I don't really use the high beams that much only when way out in the middle of no where.
