I've been hard at work on my car over the past couple months with the paint job and modified lights and hood scoop.
My car right after i bought it march 2008:

Then I changed the paint scheme a bit:

Then I bought a new grill and better paint (subaru Perl black and Perl blue), sanded her down again and came out with this:

Wow that looks REALLY good. I think that is something I will definitely have to do.
I live in a somewhat rural area with dirt roads and such, so lowering my car wouldn't be a great idea even though i know it would look awesome and benefit my cornering capabilities quite a bit.
Thanks for the ideas!

I know this is OCD of me, but can you put some weatherseal/foam around the hoodscoop mating surface? I can see the gap in between the hood and scoop :smt005

Otherwise, great job. I always thought an 02-03 scoop would look pretty nice on a BE...

I know, I agree it looks pretty tacky. A guy I work for on the weekends does body work and really wants to hook me up with some help making my scoop look a lot better. Yet another another summer project

Projectors look good btw, much cleaner than my attempt at industrial-art

Also, did you do the projectors? They look real clean. How much did they run you?
Sweet looking car

Yeah, me and a buddy of mine spent a day modifying the stock ones. He already had a set that he wasn't using so basically the only cost was for the black paint and some black silicone sealer ~$20. It was a lot of careful work, and the whole time we really didn't know if it would turn out half way decent haha. Some pics of the process:

Not sure why I didn't notice this until now, but if your car is an 03, why does it have a 00-02 bumper? The 03-04 were different. Just curious??

My car is a salvage. It was in a mild front end collision that required a hood, radiator, and bumper replacement. This bumper likely came off a 02 parts car.

I got the paintjob idea from another guy in canada on a different forum. The silver half of my car is being repainted this summer to fix the peeling front bumper.
Yeah that car is still for sale. Really nice. Your's nice too :)

Thought about it a few times actually, but here in Cali it's illegal and the CHP are *ssholes. So I might wait untill I can afford to pay for the fix it tickets
