rear wing swap with an RS

any one know how wide a RS's trunk is, i saw the stock spoiler on one while parousing nasioc and saw it was taller than the legacy one but not high enough to catch power lines :D i wants one

i could measure one of the trunks that we have laying around. I have a few wingless ones and maybe have an RS wing or 2 laying around as well.

I believe it will fit. This is on my to do list once i find a RS wing for cheap :lol: ..but check on RS25.com, people always getting rid of their spoilers.

haha, I didn't realize you were on here man.

I was looking into this for my 95 legacy back 'in the day'. There's no reason the RS trunk should be wider, however the GC/GM body imprezas had almost flat trunks and ours had some curvature. It's nothing that can't be cured with some sanding/filing or thick rubber gaskets. The wing's lines do matc the BD's sexyness rather well.

For 130 bucks, I bought a GD sti wing...that I never put on the car. Thankfully, I was able to resell it and get my money back. The idea of drilling 17 holes into a perfect trunk also made me sick to my stomach.
