View Full Version : Blacking out BD headlights?

Someone on here had blacked out BD headlights. It wasn't the tint kind, but the painted reflector kind. I think it was a white wagon...

Need pics, how to do it and what i can and can't paint.

Can't really black out the USDM lights because the reflector is used to project the light.

I don't have projectors :-(

The person I saw who did this had stock USDM headlights and very few pictures. Is there any DIYs floating around that document how to disassemble a headlight.

There are DIYs, use the JDM projector threads. Try searching.

I think you're talking about the zenki Japanese non projectors. Usually can be had for less than $100 for a set. Reason used to have them on his black BD

^ Yeah those do appear a little black around the edges. If you baked them and took them apart you could paint them just a tad to make the black more noticeable.
