Im looking to replace my struts/springs but i dont want to lower the car at all, will parts from a newer outback work? any suggestions? thank you

Yep. But they'll raise the car an inch or so.

Better to just buy stock springs and new struts.

Or buy some Whiteline Control springs (very mild drop with improved handling) and pair with KYB GR2 struts.

im looking for cheap upgrades/replacements, will the outback suspension hurt handling? i really love sliding through corners. are struts/springs from newer legacys compatible?

go on ebay and look for coilovers for a wrx

Read up on the threads in the suspension forum... its all been covered before.
If you want to slide through corners, you will need new springs and swaybars to help control the bodyroll.

Again, do some reading - it's all been asked and answered before.
