question about stock headers

im writing a "boxer rummble post" you will see it up here but im just checking

the stock 2.2 and 2.5L N/A legacy and RS headers are equal length right but there not true equal length there a little off correct?

Sorry I couldnt understand you that well, but I am pretty sure that all subaru's have unequal length headers stock.

i messured my headers once if i recall. where its from the flange to the first collector . front pipe is 5", back pipe is 3.5", than from that collector to the 2-1 collector the pipes are 16.5". the measurement are the same for both sides
so they are UEL by 1.5 inchs

Yeah I understood it they are unequal, that is what gives the "boxer" sound. I have the second gen 2.2 (single port....) and it lacks that "boxer" sounds, but makes a little more power than the gen one 2.2 (dual port). The headers on the gen two are almost the same length, which is better from power. Just my 2 cents.
