'02+ WRX wagon rear seat compatible with BK/BG?

I just got an '02 WRX wagon rear seat to match the front seats. Has anyone tried putting WRX wagon seats into a second gen wagon before? I already know WRX/STi seats work in a sedan, but am wondering about the compatibility specifically for a wagon application.

I still want to be able to fold the seats flat. Any input would be appreciated.

Looks clean from what I saw, didn't take too much work from what he said, just some tweaking, but the Impreza seats don't work the same as ours, the bottom doesn't fold up, the backs just fold down - so it won't ever go flat and lock into the seat base the way the stock ones do.

GF seats will flip the base forward, and the backrests down so it lies flat.

Cool, thanks for the FYI Sybir. As long as I can still haul bigger items by folding down the backs I'll be pleased. I've only had to sleep in the car a few times and thats when I really appreciated that the seats could lay completely flat.

the seats on a BG fold up and down??? :oops: for the amount of times that ive folded the back down now i know why they dont click into place or anything...where do i lift?

If your talking about the seat bottoms on the BG, theres a little black strap that you pull and the bottom pops out.

The bottom cushion of the wagon seat pivots forward, there is a black strap in the middle that you pull out that releases the locks, you pivot the bottom part of the seat forward, and it exposes the place where all the food and spare change hides.

Take the headrests off, and push the backrest forward and hey presto - flat cargo area.

dang, i fold down those seats down at least once-twice a month since i got the car 2 years ago and im JUST learning this :oops:
