Hello everyone, im basically new to this place, only talking to maybe 4-5 of you at most on aim. But really must say this site has become a fountain of knowledge for me. Picking up my BE just 3 weeks ago ive found out alot of things for this car here and i want to thank you all for picking through parts to hopefully build my car into something i can call more beautiful than it already is. Now onto my story with pics.

On december 21st, i left my house in PA heading to work in Hamburg at 7:30 am with a little bit of snow on the ground and some falling. I have driven in the snow before in FWD and also RWD so i figured subaru awd wouldnt be much of a problem for a little dusting on the road. after i crossed 2 different mountains on my way to work, i started on the Gordon Nagle trail entering cressona (i know probably alot of you dont know what this looks like) but it is a pretty nasty windy road at the middle. at around 8:10 or so in the morning, coming around the last little curve, i had encountered my arch enemy... Black Ice. I was doing between 30-35 in my 97 2.5GT wagon and without reason, my back end cocked sideways facing opposite side of the road. Needless to say i tried everything in my power to correct it from gas to brakes, everything. As i was sent like a rocket towards the oncoming bank, and yelling out obsenities as i was going, i impacted the bank head on, wearing my seatbelt, and hitting my face on the steering wheel and blacking out. i awoke a few minutes later, hanging upside down not knowing what had happened or where i was. luckily 2 good samaritans helped me out of my car as i was still in panicing mode, frantically clawing at the glass to get out, and crawling around on my shattered sunroof. i got out of the car and ultimately collapsed in the snow next to my car. keep in mind this was my first accident and i was still in shock and terror so i didnt know what to really do. i tried to get back to my feet but due to a severe neck strain and concussion i was un able to move alot but the people slid my body behind my car and sat me upright on the bank i had hit. eventually i was taken to the hospital for an over night stay, fined 120 dollars by the PSP (PA state police) and was sent on my way. later that day i went and collected my things, sold a few parts i could off the car and salvaged the rest. here are the pics i took for all my friends and maybe future friends to see.

Welcome... looks like the following exterior bits are probably salvageable:
wheels
hood (looks dented, but probably repairable)
rear spoiler
rear hatch
3 doors
GT sideskirts and rear bumper
right mirror
fuel flap

How bad is the suspension? Much wear?

Ahh... I reread your post. Car is salvaged already.

yeah, i salvaged all i could off it, axles, trans, engine, hatch, spoiler, interior, pretty much anything sorta bolted down and sold it to the place i bought it, my BE woulda been 5100 total after tax and title but with insurance and the parts, i only ended up paying i think 600 or so. the motor it self only had less than 7K on it, all from me and trans around 20K on it give or take. also sold wheels and tires which were new, to a friend of mine for on his girlfriends forester. so i think i made out pretty well, even though im still waiting to hear about my court date because being charged for weather conditions is complete and utter bullcrap..

I got a ticket when I rolled my Jeep for basically driving too fast for the conditions.
