camber, how much??? [Archive] - Subaru Legacy International

just wanted to know what everyone comes to camber. i ask beacuse hopefully soon i will get coilovers, and i want to run some camber on my car after i get them on. for the spring and summer time! what does everyone run on the cars?

Depends on the requirements. For a nice daily driving car, -1.0 or -1.5 in the front, and -1.0 for the rears.

But again, depends on why you want coils...

thanks decke i was about to say i think i started a thread about this a couple months back.

currently i'm on KYB's and H&R's and have -1.5 front and -1.0 rear (STATIC) and 0 toe all around. I'm very happy with it.

you may want something even more aggressive with coilovers though.

yeah, im want something aggressive for the spring and summer time, but until that here im just goin to stay to stock specs. as much as i can, but thanks for the info.

Why? Camber, toe settings are independent of suspension rebound and spring rate - though they work in conjunction.

Just because someone runs coilovers doesn't mean they will need to run mad tyte camber y0!

Which is why I have to ask again, why the need for coilovers?

I only meant it as in if you are going for coils you may want a more aggressive alignment to go with your more aggressive set-up, otherwise stick to the struts/springs route. Didn't mean it as an ultimatum, just a thought.
