what resistor to use ?airbag delete

if not mistaken its 3 Ohms check on nasioc thats where i fond out.

I bought minimum 10, used only one to turn off my airbag light mainly for my WRX airbag seats when I swapped out a EDM ones w/out airbags. If you need one,PM me.

You guys do know that this is illegal to tamper with the airbag systems other then replacing parts, right? If all you are trying to do is turn the light off, is pull the bulb. Not endorsing it, but thats what I would do if I was running an aftermarket wheel.

An air bag is a safety fail in mass. No light while doing a bulb check=no pass

Here in WA, no one checks it. Unless it's going to state patrol inspection, but that nly happens if the car was totaled and has been re-built.

Some people want to run an old school steering wheel without airbag like myself without having to cut wires, if I resell its nice to be plug and play back to stock.

I have read all the forums on wrx/impreza having the 3.3 fix theirs but I'm thinking bg/bd are different resistant.

did you try 3ohm or 3k ohm? i've been running 3 ohm resistors for about 5 years now in the seat airbag wires with no issues.

As far as legal goes i switched seats to non-airbag seats and putting 3ohm resistors fools the system into thinking all of them present. So in a front collision my front impact will still work...........i hope

Matt, just pull the cluster and take the bulb out. Will take less time and it's pretty damn easy.
