Noises while turning left

If I make a slow mild-hard turn to the left I get this grinding/rubbing/moaning noise from my drivers side front. Any help? Could this relate to why my car swims like a fish on the highway, it drifts to the left then to the right, and back and forth, but it will drive in a straight line while doing this.

First check your lug nuts, and then take a look at your CV joints. You can also see if there is anything loose in the front end by trying to pivot your wheels with the car parked on the ground. Nothing should move/wiggle.

Just had the car in the garage, and they replaced a torn steering rack boot, but the noise is still there. It a grinding/shuddering noise while making a slow sharp left turn. Could it be the wheel bearing? I have a 2001 BE with 101000 miles on it, 1000 miles past the extended warranty :-(

Wheel bearing noises are usually directly related to your speed. Maybe check to see if your fender liner is coming off on either side, and if the tire could be rubbing it. Did they do an alignment after replacing the steering boot?

i'm gonna go with fender liner rubbing cause mine is really bad right now and it's driving me NUTS!

that drifting on the highway wouldn't be the liner rubbing I say get an alignment done but still check the liner cuz it would only take 5 seconds to look in the wheel well

My BE is doing the same thing, I'm guessing it is wheel well liner rubbing on the tires.

I took off the clamp about a week ago, and for the most part it seemed to do the trick.
As for the highway driving I think it might be uneven tread wear on my tires, hopefully that's the reason why my steering wheel shakes hardcore.
