It's a 93 Slushbox. It needs some work. It has a tranny leak, rust (Pass. door/ 1/4's) and some other misc. stuff. I might part it or rebuild it. I'll know tomorrow when I pick it up.

Any suggestions?

A 93? Is it AWD?

Might be fun for a beater car, or to beat the snot out of autox... I thought you were only allowed two cars + one bike in the family?

You are correct again Mr. Huffer! I am only allowed 2 cars & a bike. I'm getting the GF for a steal and can't pass it up. Whichever seems to be more practical to build, would soon be left at the shop for evaluation/tear down/ rebuild when the space there is available. Until then, I have to find a place to keep it.

And there will be no swap :-( only bodywork and paint which kinda has me still leaning towards my BK. If I decide to keep the GF, the BK (or vice versa) would (unfortunately) have to go... THEN I'll get a swap for the keeper so I would be Slushbox free!!!

If its a little too far gone, then I'll strip it of what I can use and junk the rest. I've seen the car (Kid works w/ me) but haven't been in it, or driven it. It's AWD too. If this is the way I'd go, then I don't have to worry about where I'm gonna keep it.

Anything in particular I should be looking for that I can upgrade the BK with, in case I do strip it down?

Update:
Well, a "No Go" so far.

I didn't get to get it yesterday. We've both been busy (me: a death in the family) so this is gonna be postponed for today. I'm gonna call him this afternoon.

There's not really much except for wheels, brakes, seats....the rear suspension should work if you flip them left to right...front suspension will plug right in, but the spring rates will be wrong... front strut brace...

Normally the trend is to find a later model car and swap bits into your older model, not the other way around... :)

the rear suspension on mine didnt work, the bolts are closer together compared to the legacy, i will take a pic in a min when i go work on it

I know, but caliper brackets and parts of the like are timeless :smt023
