I really like the hella supertones behind the front grill!
I've been thinking about getting some magnecores for my car. Did you notice any performance gain from them?
Next upgrade should be JDM projector headlights, or clear up the foggy ones you have now.
I personally hate foggy headlights, I just replaced mine cause I couldn't afford projectors...

My head lights look like they were yellowed like fog lights... I have plans to clear them up.

I also agree with the hella horns and grill look.
When I finished dropping the newer engine in I had the magnacore wires and plugs installed at that time. I noticed a big difference in power, which could have been from the newer engine's compression. When it comes to NA cars, every little bit helps a little bit... and there are quite a few you can do. Although I don't know the HP increase, when compared by TheAngryPigeon, my car seemed to pull a bit faster off the line than his 98 GT who has also just replaced his engine. :smt027 I would still recomend them if the price is right.

Have we actually gone toe to toe yet? I don't think we have =p.

Navi, we'll have to settle this for you sometime soon. lol

Headlights now are clear and I'm impressed how easy and cheap it was to do.

the boot matches the sti on the floor mats nicely! I like the new cd player too, personally i like alpine the best but have had no problem with jvc
you need to get the black window opener button insert thingers on the doors to match the new center blackness

MOMO wheel looks good Trevor. I bet it feels a lot better too.

Are you ditching the entire rack or just the snowboard rack?

Yeah... I was backing up and pinched one between my tire and a curb so it came off... took off the the other side so it wasn't so obvious lol. Until I can order new hardware and install them.

I took off the entire rack... noticed a 2-3 mpg drop with them on plus the snow season came to a close in Tahoe so off with them.

I am entirely impressed by how the wheel feels, got a good deal on it as well.

Thanks! I did too, every now then I go through a phase to powder coat them black... but it never lasts long.

I like your profile pic. It's a bit ironic that my 'Check Engine Light' turned on yesterday and flashes every now and then... which means it's something serious like a misfire, fuel deprived, air deprived or something of the sort. I might as well explain what happend...

Noticed what happend as stated above and then had a friend at kreagan check the codes: cylinder 3 AND 4 were misfiring. However, the engine has been running flawlessly without a hint of a sputter. Said friend pointed out that cylinder 3 and 4 are opposing eachother on the distributer which would lead us to believe it may be giving a bad spark occasionally causing the ECU to freak out.

Very uncommon that 2 spark plugs or wires would die at the same time right?

Cleared the codes and it's back on with the occasional flashing. Any Ideas?

Swap the plug wires at the coil pack and see if it happens in cylinders 1 and 2 if it does then you know the wires or the coil pack are bad.

I was lookin around nasioc for a set and some guy tried to sell me some refinished ones for close to 500 i had to get back to him on that one thats like brand new rota prices and a nicer size then 16x6.5 even tho that would be plenty of tire for my stock L suspension it dont hurt to push till coilover money builds up

and i just noticed my grill is done up exactly the same as yours cept my supertones are more offset to the sides jus workin on gettin a lip and fogs for my zenki bumper

I think I might take the fog lenses to the 2500 grit level, stopped at 2000.

Just installed high flow headers and cat. Now I have a complete after market exhaust: headers, high flow cat, Stromung mid pipe, and muffler... sounds puurrrrfect lol

Also swapped on a set of JDM prjectors ;) Will post some pics later

totally shot from the bearing... The CV splines actually seized up in there, took 5,000lbs from the press to get it out. Some major machine work is required for sure! Replaced the other side bearing and CV for good measure

What do you guys think about taking a BBS gold rattle can to the wheels? Anyone interested in doing a photo shop job?

Thanks guys, I picked these up for 200 bucks. One "buck" flew from the front of a truck that was in front of me and tagged my right/rear wheel cracking one of the spokes on my old gold set. Causing me to go get a nicer set of wheels... lol
