Walked into my Subie dealer today and asked If they were going to get a Spec B. They looked at me as if I were crazy. They didn't have a clue what I was talking about. Needless to say they aren't getting one.

Its ok, I'm sure they'll get one. Sales people are retarded. When I was buying my car, I told the guy "96-98 legacy wagon". He was showing me imprezas, mustangs, and then he showed me an "impreza sedan with ABS", it was a 97 legacy L sedan... :roll:

yeah, don't try to talk cars with sales people, they're just there to show you what features it has. Most of them don't talk about the finer points of the things that count (engine, tranny, etc) because they're really just there to figure out how to convince you that a brand new car is cheap :lol:

I know most of the people in the Service dept here, but the sales people mostly ignore me.

I think only high volume dealers will see the spec B. The dealership I go to has one in the show room. An old friend of mine that works for service was trying to sell me the car. I came pretty close to trading in my BD for it. He say if they sell it they can get more because they are the largest Subaru dealer in RI (like RI is effin huge lol)

Our dealer treats Subies as a red headed step child.

the advantage to our dealer is that its primarily a subaru dealer, secondarily a Honda dealer. At least the tech department is, the higher ups in Sales do the Hondas.

I guess its cause Subarus are easier to sell :lol:
