Clutch start issues...

When I go to start the car sometimes I have to push the clutch to the floor a few times to trip what I guess is a sensor so I can start the car, most of the time it's ok and I do know what it's there for. If anyone could educate me on how I might go about fixing this that'd be awesome.

I had a wrx at work with the same problem. There is a switch over the pedal. It could just need to be adjusted.
