Park lights staying on after using keyless entry

Here lately, and it only happens every once and awhile not everytime, my park lights stay on when i use my factory keyless entry to lock my doors. I can hit unlock and they go off, then I just ock it again and that will turn them off.

anyone know what this might be?

I changed the battery recently, possible its related to that some how maybe?

For the ones that wont read my sig, I have a 1997 Legacy GT BD. It has a factory alarm/keyless entry.

You could try reprogramming your remotes... check the threads on the alarm reprogramming or cars101.com

The problem is actually changing or well doing it other times now..

Its now doing it when someone elses keyless sets my alarm off, then it turns itself off either by them clicking theirs again or it just turns off in a few seconds/minutes and the park lights are staying on.

ill have to give reprogramming my remote a shot to see if that does anything.
