Hello all, I was trying to solve my headlight problem today so I took the bottom part of the dash apart and while I was trying to figure out what was what, I saw a mysterious green plug, unplugged. When I plugged it in, and I started the car, the check engine light kept flashing. So, naturally, I disconnected it and went about my business, trying to fin other problems.

Now that I am here, I need you help trying to figure out what this plug is for...

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance to anyone trying to help.

It's a diagnostic plug. Don't plug it in.

It's supposed to be disconnected. If you connect it the ECU goes into diagnostic mode.

Been discussed before, so I'm locking this one up for the archives...
