View Full Version : Bumper swap Qs

Swapping my 98 L 's stock bumper for something . . . different :wink: and was wondering if Ill have to worry about airbag sensors? The new bumper is a complete cover, beam and the shocks/rods that bolt into the frame.

I solemnly swear to post pics once it warms up.

Something that takes no custom fab work. It's been done before but Ive only seen it twice.

Um. Seeing as you wont say what bumper you're using its difficult to give you an answer. The airbag sensors aren't attached to the bumper itself though.

Why would it be difficult? You just answered my Q. I wanted to know if the sensor was attached to the the bumper beam or independent of it.

I should have been a bit clearer of what info I was looking for in the OP. :oops:
