This is the official thread so please try to keep posts to about the meet only.

The meet will be held at Colt State park In Bristol RI at 1pm (I'll be there around noon, come early if you like). The meet will be 2-3 hours and then we can go grab a bite to eat at a local spot before we all part ways.

Although this isn't the "official" thread, you can still post up and show your interest in the meet. I'll even make a list of people interested just for everyone to get an idea. The first meet may be in April, there will be a summer meet like July or August. Depending on how these 2 meets pan out we may do a fall meet!

I have internet access on my phone so I will be checking and if need be updating this thread before and during the meet that day. If for some reason we aren't at this location we will be SOMEWHERE in the park. I found a few hidden spots that we may have to use. That's why I urge you to swap numbers with people so you can call someone else that may have found the rest of us already.

I will also bring any SLi decals that I have, instead of the usual $5 each they will be $4=1, $7=2, 3 or more will be $3 each

I sent a few more PM's to some other New Englanders (4 more). If we don't have a drop off this would be the biggest Legacy meet ever gathered for SLi. Maybe one of the largest in the Legacy community too. Not sure how LCO and LGT.com does but either this should turn on good. Clear those schedules, tell a friend that has a Legacy! Keep the non Legacy cars to a minimum, this is a Legacy meet for sure, not a Subaru meet :twisted:

Yea, The local IHOP got totally pwned by a random UNYSOC meet last week. We had like 15 guys and ate through 3 full griddles of pancakes.

Everyone had a blast as far as I could tell, at the June 12th '08 meet. All the cars that were there were creative. From a JDM Impostor (Antonio) to an "All Out Sleeper" (Mr. Beast) to a stock looking L wagon (DPlencia), all the cars were an inspiration, but weren't looking to take show honors. Everyone that went seemed to be just hanging out enjoying each others company not competing with each other. Good times.

Bring your cameras and cams, If there is anyone that want to take some footage and put a clip together like Heresmymind did last year pm me. I'm not sure is he is coming this year, but if someone else wants to step up to the challenge that would be great

Nah, a lot of local car clubs and some internet ones hang out there on the weekends. I wont be surprised to see other clubs there just hanging out somewhere in the park too.

I chose this one because I hardly see anyone park there (everyone usually hangs out in the same area by the water) and you have to drive around the whole park to get there :grin: Plus we are easy to see and when people drive by they can drool over the awesomeness that is LEGACY :twisted:

Just a heads up, who ever is going should exchange cell phone numbers just incase somebody get lost or breaks down (me lol). You could also pm me your numbers just incase I need to move parking lots. The BACKUP parking lot is the first one to the left when you enter the park. But highly doubt we will have to use it.

Also the park has one street (perry) that loops around the whole park. To get to the meet spot you have to drive around (check out the girlies) the park, past us that are already there. Don't panic if you see us waving as you drive by, the road will bring you to us.

Theres no food in the park so bring your coolers so you can eat. Theres nothing too close to eat but wendys up the road. I think they would have a heart attack if they say 30+ subies pulling in the lot.

I did not go down to the park area I stopped at the sign where the arrow was pointing to the park and one was pointing to some sports complex...

lol it's funny because I passed the place at first because I thought they had a gate to close it. But it's in a nice area of the town the hardest part was finding a gas station that was open at the time I was heading back, I made it home by 12:40am.

lol note to anyone coming or going back R.I troopers like to hide in bushes with the lights off at night.. my headlights lit him up as I was going by.

I think some young kid driving in a 05 outback was checking out my SLi window stickers lol He kinda drove like a tool when he finally got off.

well after today i got to hope that the car can be fixed, broke the timing belt on 128 and drove, with it broke, another 3 miles before realizing what happened, no details on to extent of damage but it may be very severe. possibly might have to change out the engine if its really bad. possible damage includes broken lifters, bent valves, and dented pistons. I will let you guys know if its fixable when i am told about it.

Theres a back up parking lot right at the entrance. Once you pull off from the main road the first parking lot off to the left and it kinda dips down I think. This year it's a BYOS meet and if you want to head at to get wendys during the meet whatever, I might do it too. lol, so funny story, I fixed the rust on ONE of my quarter panels so far. I won't be able to display the greatness of wheel-well long through rust rotted glory, of course as long as my work stays together. WE'LL SEE. I always get to show off the other side that wasn't as bad =P

I washed my tires and wheels today, and did a quick waxing to the lip. Hopefully it doesn't go away with tomorrow's through the morning showers. I'm gonna get a quick wash in on the way from Boston to RI. I wanna look shiny.

Looks like the meet is canceled tomorrow....SIKE!! A bit cloudy in the morning and will clear up, High of 75 degrees. If theres any concerns of getting lost get a hold of someone, if you don't have anyone to call it's your fault. There are people will to swap numbers to make sure everyone makes it with no problems.

I tried to explain to Delvin how to find this location. He had concerns that some people may not find the spot. Once you drive through the 2 bulls you will go straight to you sign at a split. Straight is the beach area, you want to bare left. Keep driving up till you see like a rotary (circle road) and 203 red guard shacks. You want to go past the guard shacks. Theres nobody in there so just go right through. At this point the road is a two way. So just follow the road all the way around the park. It will be one big loop around. You will see me (if you are the first one there) or all of us on the right behind the small stone wall. Theres two ways in so if you miss the first entrance don't get nervous or panic, it will be ok :smt023
