Subaru to Porsche, But Porsche to Subaru?

1st, I want to clear the air. I am not in anyway, about to attempt this.

I usually see Porsches with Subaru conversions.

Example:
An H6 Conversion in a 914

.... but I haven't come across any Subaru's with Porsche plants. I know they aren't as reliable but they are, however, more potent.

Just wondering if there was any done vice versa.

Yeah, I can't even find any pics or anyone who's tried it...Tho that doesn't mean it hasn't been done.

someone did it to a RS i beleived, they had to modify the crossmember to make it work.

My dream is to have a SVX shell with everything from a 911 GT3 :-)

yeah. Buying an engine to swap in could cost as much as a Subaru ready to go, so I can see why you'd wait.
