i have been looking for anyone who has done it or knows how it is done. i would like to do the wrx swap and i was told that to make wiring life easier just swap the dash out to. any comments or help. i have a 99 lgt

contact ecs www.Eastcoastswappers.com (http://www.Eastcoastswappers.com) they did it before.

i dont think so.. ECS did it but they swapped a full wrx motor with it.. any who if u go on with this project im selling a 2002 wrx cluster with blue LEDs in it ;)

Why don't you ask him directly? He's on this board. Even has a member rides 1 thread.

he has the whole harness so the cluster plugged in. you need to figure out how to splice things together to work or do a motor swap.

i would think that has got to be the easiest way to do a swap. from on body to the next.

this is what i was told from ecs to fit the wrx dash in. there is a lip under the windshield on the legacys that imprezas dont have. so it needs to be cut out. and the dash bar need to be welded in
