Hi, My abs kicks in out of nowhere while i was braking slowly today, and after that the abs light came on. so once i got home i follow the procedure to diagnosis the abs system and i have pull code 51 ( 5 long 1 short ), which is valve relay. so my question is where is this valve relay is located/hiding ? or got any suggestions fixing this problem that i have?
thanks

Check your wheel sensors, and the ABS relay is under the hood in the fusebox.

still don't see the relay in the fuse box under the hood, however when i took off the wheel i find a chunk of what i believe to be abs rotor back hanging around the rotor wtf... :-/ :smt013 ... not only that... what's even more worst is i found (very old )silicone around it too.
here is a pic of that piece
btw do anyone have a piece of that for sale ?

I hate to say it, but that could be an expensive repair if you bring it to the stealership. I don't know if you can buy just the toner ring without buying the entire hub the entire hub. If I remember right, it gets screwed into hub and you would have to press the hub out to get a new one on without breaking it.

i hope not. because when i look at the fsm and the parts manual... it seems like that part can be separate from the hub and the part # for it is 26750AA003 or 27550AC000

Yeh, I didn't really know if they sold just the ring. That's good to know.

if you want to install a new abs ring, that means you have to press in a new wheel bearing, no way around that.
also that might be the reason it broke, when the bearing failed on my SUS i did not make a sound (some creaking and weird sounds but no usual bearing noise) and when it failed it completely fell to pieces and the abs ring hit the sensor and broke both.

I'm reviving this cause I have the same code.
I looked under the good and I have 6 relays. 1 for each headlight then 4 that say a/c relay. Where's the abs relay?

I don't feel so bad no one knows where the relay is!
