so i went to the junkyard today and snagged this steering wheel off of some isuzu truck for $15.

i was wondering what i had to do to put it in, like how to deal with the no airbag issue...
i know i wont have cruise control, but i dont use it anyway.
i know it has been done before, i just dont know how, or what i have to do.

If you pull the airbag, your airbag system will not function in the event of a head on collision - possibly no big deal but your insurance provider will want to know.
you will need a boss that mounts to the steering column, and allows the new wheel to be mounted.
Apart from that, it's basically the same as any steering wheel removal.
Any advantage to that new wheel? Smaller diameter?

if i do this, will none of the airbags work? i know if i just unplug it it will screw up the airbag system but there is no way to trick it? i read something about like a 3 ohm resistor or something somewhere on here....
there is no real advantage other than i think it will look better... it is almost the same diameter as the stock wheel, maybe an inch smaller outside diameter.
other than that, the fact that i got it for 15 dollars and it sells new for around 140-150, so if i dont like it, then i sell it.
edit: i just looked a little bit harder on rs25, and i found out i nned to wire in a 3.3 ohm resistor to trick the system. i just dont know where? help please!
