I had gotten white faced over lays and I'm not really happy with them and I also can't get my needles back to how they were after taking them out and putting them back in probably 50 times (there sticky nomader how far I put them in or don't put them in) so I want to go with what I wanted originaly, a WRX or STi red/orange glow cluster I would prefer the STi because it goes to 160mph and its says "STi" where the WRX one says Impreza and I don't have a Impreza, but people seem to sell the WRX ones alot cheaper so I might have to just live with it but...
1. will it fit in just fine or will some mods have to be done and how extensive? just cutting a tab off hear or there or will I have to fabricate a mount or screw holes?
2. I know its not plug and play and the wires have to be spiced but I would like to splice my stock BD GT gauge plugs on to the STi cluster so I could remove the cluster in the future without cutting the wires or undoing it all. I am planing on taking the gauge cluster to a custom car shop here and having them do the wireing but will everything be functional? I know the tires on the STi are almost exactly the same diameter so that shouldnt be a problem but will every thing elce work? Gas gauge CEL's and such? (I know the DCCD light isn't going to light up if I don't have a DCCD)
