Well I wasn't lying, i'm back BEing! :smt023

I bought the Legacy on 19th of February. I'm glad I'm driving a Subaru for the last months of winter! The only downside is the automatic transmission. EAT Sportshift ain't bad but still, I miss the real feel.

** UPDATES **

Well I decided to go easy on this one, will most likely sell it next year or keep it as 2nd car. This being said, I installed a rear spoiler and changed summer tire with WRX 09 gunmetal wheels.

I would have liked it to become a project car getting close to:

But this chassis and the money required never sounded like a good idea.

I've sold my 98 GT 5-spd BD sedan less than a year ago. The poor kid who bought it forgot oil needs to be looked at on a ~12 years old boxer engine and just blew it up! R.I.P in shame.

91 Turbo 5-spd. My first Legacy a while ago. My very first car. I even bought that car from my ex-mother-in-law B4 I got my official driver license. I discovered Subaru AWD in 1999. I've sold that car for cheap to a friend who rally'd the hell out of it! R.I.P in pride.

I don't want to burst the bubble, but the internet ad uses Outback wheels, from a BH, and the interior pic shows a 03 Momo steering wheel outer rim with an earlier model SRS airbag?

I may be wrong...

Do the air bags from our Leggies (BD in my case) and Momo steering wheels mate up properly? If so, I may just buy one for cheap off ebay and put my air bag in it.

Well may be the picture from the ad wasn't the actual car. The mags do look like Outback's rims but on another side they look very alike the ones on my GT. The steering wheel is the same for all GT 03 I think, the other 03 GT I almost bought 3 weeks ago had the same momo-leathered steering. It looks like a mix of the earlier GT steering combine with the 02-03 WRX leather.

Nice ride. The steering wheel is interesting, it looks like the MOMO style airbag on the WRX with the 4 ridges on each spoke. This is not the same as the older style steering wheel, so all you guys thinking you can just get the MOMO steering rim and swap your airbag center in are going to be dissapointed. My 03 L came with the older style steering wheel, oddly enough...I tried fitting the old airbag onto my momo wheel and it was too big.

And going through the trouble of a swap just to keep the new engine stock is like spending money on a hooker and only wanting a lapdance

Ok ok! It looks like the seller was lazy and used a picture from someone else ad but even tho they are different you gonna admit they have the same size, color and pattern (well from the small picture, i know outback looks much different usually).

Anyone got a link for a rear spoiler? I can't find any from subarugenuineparts but may be from an earlier BE something there's one. I don't trust the eBay's wing. May be i'm wrong.
