PAINT HELP

I bought my car this way, there are some scratches on both sides of the front bumper. Is there an easy solution to fix this? There is no dent, just missing paint.

Can I do a DIY paint just that part, or is it a lost cause?

If I had the talent, I would just have the car painted Satin Black, like the other wagons here, but I don't have that talent :(

The white paint may be able to buff out with a good buffer and compound if it is just from whatever you hit and didn't scratch into the paint/ clear coat. The black spots, however will have to be painted/ touched up. This part is down to the bumper itself and all the paint is gone. You can try to use touch-up paint on it, but I doubt it will look any good.

it's really not that hard to rattle can a car, just mask everything off (including your face) and go to town, then repeat

Don't you need to sand and get all the old paint off?

it would be a good idea around the rough areas and to strip the old clear coat but i'm sure you could get by without too much, you just need to make sure you get all the edges where it is or could be peeling so it won't come off after you paint it.

with a project like this there are many extra steps you can take to go for better results but there is still a limit to how good you can get with spray cans.
