So I finally got a SS. it only took me a year of looking. The car is not in bad shape at all. The car has 230,013miles on body, and 130,013miles on the motor. Not much of a Mod list, but hey got to start somewere.

oh you saw that. i forgot about that. the only thing that bugs me about the car is when i turn on the def and floor heat together the fans come on.

the guy i bought it from i beleive made the TMIC, and roger it was up for sale for about 2hrs before i got ahold of the guy.

just changed all the oil. i dont think the tranny and rear diff had ever been done. the oil that came out made me gag, it stunk so damn bad. did a motor flush and wow the stuff that came out after that. the car runs so damn quiet, and shifts so smoothly. the lifters tick just alittle. i bypassed the stock boost sol. the acuator isold and lets go early. only boosting .38 bar. goin to get a boost gauge and a manual boost controller to correct this little problem.

so the plan for the wheel when i get the drivetrain done it. Enkei RFF1's 17x7.5 +48et(215/45/17) on the front and 17x8 +38et(225/40/17) for the rear. i will be getting tein flex coilovers for free here in the next 2 weeks.

took off the stupid wrx rims and put on the snowflakes. looks a 1000x better than the wrx wheels. also installed NGK power wires and NGK v-power plugs. car runs alot better.

so i broke my intake today while trying to install a newer pitch beam(the person that installed the WRX intercooler did to much banging). so right now im in the middle of makeing a new intake. should be done saturday. im not puting alot of the vaccum lines back on. way to much crap.

well times are getting really tuff. i dont know if im going to be able to keep this car or my other legacy. if things get any tougher i will have to sell one of them.

thinking about selling this right now. i really just pissed that i got the car and it takes a shit on me. acouple things could be wrong. fuel pump, fuel pump harness, fuel line, idle air control valve, or throttle pos sensor.

searching for idle when warm. rough idle(think i found vac leak). staying in boost. starting and running when it wants to(think this is the fuel pump harness). might install a switch for the pump. got parts to make intake. stock intake broke.

well i replaced the fuel pump today. the person before me did a bad splice on the "walbro" he put in. i dont think it was a walbro. the walbro 255 i put is was a plug and play. it was easy. the runs now. the turbo on the other hand is a diff story. the turbo is burning oil now. also the IAC not the TPS is the problem. she is coming along slowly.

I was going to suggest the fuel pump. When my SS was having the same problems I changed and cleaned everything. When it came down to replacing the fuel pump the bitch stayed running :roll: So are you going to keep it now?

looking for a td04 now. also freind gave me a JDM Forester intake. looking at it for parts. removed the vf11 today. cant wait to get a td04 and get it back on the road.

so i got a outback sport scoop(2.5rs) for the hood. i traced out teh scoop and dremled the scoop out. dirrled holes to attach it to teh 2nd layer of the hood. layed some fiberglass and started to sand. now in in the middle of bondoing and smoothing things out. at the bottom is the oil burning VF11 turbo. as you can tell by the white turbine wheel is was over worked. also there was about 1/4in play on the wategate.

just put on tein flex coilovers. they were not made for the car but we made them work. they are for a GCD Impreza. i also got a nasty head gash while doing the work on the car.
