Well I think that's what it is...
It started a few day ago. I was pullin in to Target. I pushed the clutch in to turn into a parking spot and the car just kept goin. So I muscled it out of gear and parked. WTF! I stated it in gear to limp it to the shop to dig in to it and about a block away it just started working again, like nothing happend.
Fast forward to today. Same thing again...out of nowhere it stopped working again. I ran it around the block to see if would work it's self out again but NOPE! I know it needs a clutch but I was hoping to put it off till I pull the motor for head gaskets. I just wounder what you guys think. The slave cylinder does push, but I'm not sure how far it should push. The pedal use to have little resistance but ever since this issue the has quite a bit of resistance and push back. I flushed out the system the new DOT 4 and I picked up a new clutch. Is there an thing else it could be???

Sorry for the long post

check the clutch fork if its broken. if not, you need a new clutch. it sounds like your pressure plate is broken

I would suspect the clutch master cylinder along with the clutch.

K thanks. I'm going to put the clutch out tomorrow and I ordered in a clutch slave and master just in case :smt002
But I can't find a clutch hose so I dug in the catalog and found a brake hose that should work.

Yes it's a banjo bolt on the slave cyl. I'm not 100% sure if the hose I found will work, but that's the advantage of working at a parts store

Well the clutch was almost brand new, but what had happened was one of the springs in the hub worked it self loss and got lodged in the fingers of the pressure plate. That and the pilot barring was shot.
