Hello from Kentucky... My name is Tim and I have an addiction to...uhhh...automobiles....Yeah, that was the answer. I recently picked up a '95 Legacy L AWD wagon for $400. Its rough, as you could have probably guessed due to the price. I'm looking forward to the project, and hope to make it a nice-looking, smooth-running people-hauler. I have no interest in making it SUPARFAST unless something happens to the existing drivetrain. In addition to the wagon I own a '90 Miata that I autocross in STS2, a '92 Taurus SHO MTX that is for sale, and a '87 EXP Sport Coupe that is for sale. I look forward to learning a bit more about the Legacy and its capability.

Welcome aboard! How many miles are on the wagon? What transmission? Is it rough visually, or mechanically? Sounds like you have some 4 wheeled toys anyhow, so you can take your time with this one. :)

Rough in both ways- for now at least. It needs at least a clutch and a brake line, as well as exhaust. The wagon has 189k miles on it and has a manual transmission (hence the need for a clutch.) More info if you click on the link in my sig. A member of a local auto board on which I'm a moderator has a stock STi exhaust for sale that I am thinking about picking up.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. I can't wait to get this thing on the road. Should be done next week. I'm also supposed to be picking up that stock STi exhaust and a set of '03 WRX rims from a couple of local guys. I can't wait to start driving this car, nor have I been this excited since I bought the Miata.
