so wondering what low temp therm will work on my ej22t?

the ones I usually see people use are the 160F ones. factory is 170 or 180 IIRC. Are you going to be running an aluminum rad too?

Nothing wrong with stock? IMHO, just get an OEM one.

^^ stock ones stay closed when they fail.

Which is why we replace them every time we do the cambelt, along with the water pump. :P

^^ which is great if your t-stat doesn't fail between timing belt changes, which are rated for 60,000miles.
