Okay my 2000 legacy GT wagon is having a problem with 4th gear(manual) it goes in fine, and works when decel or cruising like really light throttle. but when I get back on the gas to get moving or shift to fifth it will pop out and ends up making a grinding noise cause it just lost it and now it's clashing.
So far I tried to look but can't get the right words to search with and get to many topics or not enough.
oh yes, My Legacy has 225,xxx miles on it and only sometimes when I want to shift fast into 2nd, i get this...like something is waiting and then it will get into 2nd...like something is delaying it.
some people i've talked to (friends and co-workers) say it's something with the mounts? like all mounts maybe? engine/trans/torque or pinch.
