I noticed something strange the last few days but it just hit me that it wasnt my headers like i thought. At roughly 3500-4500 rpms, no matter what gear it is (long as its in drive), I get this metallic rattling sound, as if something is loose, like a bolt or similiar. I checked all my fittings and secured all lines, but the rattle is still there, any ideas?

sounds like a lose exhaust heat shield
that was my first thought to, but then I saw he has headers, so those are probably already gone?

There should be heatshields along most of the exhaust

Where is the sound coming from? Is it coming from the exhaust (like where the main heat sheild is) or is it coming from the engine? (Pinging?)

there are no heatshields in the front end of the car, from the cat-back there are the typical shields.
as for where the noise is coming from, it sounds like it is from the exhaust on the driver side. I noticed today when i was driving around that the rattle is more frequent than i thought, not just at high rpms but on inital acceleration. Mind you, it happens randomly so its not like something is broken internally, its deffinately an exterior issue (outside of Engine). havent had a chance to check the under carriage of the car for some time now so it could be anything really.
if it helps any, the rattle isnt causing any performance/handling isues, just really annoying to listen to XD

most likely, I'll sneak a peak when i get the chance, within the next month im putting in a new exhaust setup (current Dia. plumbing is too large for N/A) so I will take a look then.
